They're from Optimized RC I think and you can get them at DMS.

We do have some limited stock left of our Optimized R/C ones and they are being cleared out at a more "affordable" price now too....

The best motor plate for the X6 in my opinion is the DDP one (looks the coolest) plus it will also for the aweosme new heatsink/fan mount that is about to be released and is the same matching colour too......

It's in production now. ES 008 when it gets here, probably in about a month. Then we must package and ship. So around Aug 1 in U.K. if all goes well.

It's been a while coming. We've wanted to do it for the longest time -- we've paid a lot of money over the past four years drilling and tapping two holes in every motor plate knowing what we would put there. But first we had to go from 3 gears to four, then the 5 Squared, then the truck and 6 Squared, then the Kit. Of course, going from 3 gears to 4 meant a re-design of the heat sink/fan mount -- start over from zero and all that other stuph in the way.

We finally got prototypes last month and discovered they would not fit with the DDP 023 tranny brace. So Paul re-worked Ellis' design -- re-design # 3!

It will come with a nifty little fan too that blows on the motor. Some things seem to take forever...

So, Gerbil & Durango, suggest you buy the DDP 024 motor plate now and add Es 008 when it gets here.

You said the heat sink is going to be the same blue as the DDP stuff (Tamiya blue) but E-Speed parts are that nasty dark blue, so does this mean the other Espeed parts will be the cool blue eventually or will it end up being the dark blue?

I want to turn my X6 into all Tamiya blue to match my other Tamiya cars but the dark blue E-Speeds will majorly clash with my colour scheme

E-Speed 001 and 002 have both already been coming through in the lighter shade of blue for a little while now

If you want the lighter shade ones, just check with the shop you order them from to be certain they are not older stock, if they are we can swap them over for them to get you your preffered colour
