Post Wheels on RB5

Hi guys

Has anyone tried to put AE wheels on the front axles. Got loads of ae front and rears, got the rear axles on the car to fit proline rims but unsure if anyone has tried to make ae/proline fit car? any help would be great as dont really want to spend more money on the car as er-indoors gets a twitchy.

Cheers

Windy

Hi

You can buy a conversion for the rear end witch uses proline axles so you can use associated or losi rims unfortually nobody makes a conversion for the front so have to use kyosho rims unless you want to try and modify it yourself

ofcourse i forgot my camera

anyway he took a set of standard ae front axels and some kind of alu bushings that fit in the rb5 steeringknuckle
then just punded the ae axel trough the bushing.

the bushing must have a little bit smaller hole than the hex on the axle, this makes it locked in the bushing.
he also told me that glue or cemical metal would be good since his solution got a little wobbly after a while
