Default Standard v big bores.. for dirt &/or grass...

I have the Ansmann big bores currently fitted to my x2c, & the standard x2c threaded shocks on my Rat. NBC has a largely smooth grass track with 1x tabletop jump plus a smooth dirt track with 1x enormous jump. I use the MR here & the x2c on grass.

My question is, what shocks would you choose to use on each car ? Are the big bores better on my Mad Rat on the dirt with it's smoothly rolled surface & the standard shocks on the x2c for the more responsive grass or am i talking cobblers as i'm not good enugh to even notice, lol ?
