The citreon's are great until they break, then you can't get bits for months!

Me: Hi, I'm after anything that helps repair/service/keeps my citreon van on the road.
Citreon Dealer: No problem, mate. Oh, hang on, everything is on backorder. I can get it for you in 2 months...
Me: Bugger...

Funny but very true!

I have used citreons for years with minimal problems.

dont get a escort van :-o unless u like to do a lot of regualer welding, there is a reason why there is not many of them left on the road, rot, they seem to just be a magnet to it lol, also stay away from the astra vans to, very unrelable lil things.

had a dispatch 20 hdi was good van till head gasket went twice, but it was used hard and towed a caravan on its max weight limits up and down the uk

mine was top spec one with ac, elec windows etc

now got merc vito 150 which is far better.

the 1.9 is a bit flat but depends what your doing, they are big inside too, it would compare to escort for speed if u look at 1.9, also look for fiat scudo and peugeot expert, there the same thing

I have driven loads of vans in my time, I'm currently in a connect and there shoite, Doesn't help it's limited and tracked though!

The citroen/puegeot is ok had one for 3 months at one company and 2 head gaskets later and other annoying problems I went. Don't know how long it lasted after me! I was the 3rd driver of the van so it had been abused already.

nissan serena / Ldv cub. I cried when i got given one of these, Nuff said

My favourite was a Renault Kangoo, Often overlooked but for a van I abused for over 4 years solid at about 40K a year I had no issues or problems, until I blew it up in oxford with over 175K on the clock.
