We had a National on a dusty, low grip clay track today. Here is the set-up Wouter and I used (car was great!):
Front: Orange spring, 30wt, orange piston, rod ends unscrewed 2 turns => tower middle, wishbone outer Camber link 2-A with 1 washer, -1° camber, 0° toe 15gr of lead in nose Proline M3 - Losi Soft Rib Pink (gave better steering and control than Red) Long wheelbase (1,5mm longer than standard) Rear: Yellow spring (Wouter used Pink), 32,5wt, red piston, 0mm limiters, AE rod ends Extra hole drilled in wishbone (about 6mm from standard inner hole on BK2 wishbone) Old style XXX rear end with XXX-CR hubs (3 washers) Camber link 2-B, -1,5° camber, 1° anti-squat Short wheelbase Wing: 7" big gurney, high Rudebits brass T-plate + 40gr under pack Losi Big Shot Red - Kangawallafox or Losi insert I used Trinity 1° hubs, they improved forward traction and stability. |

Almost correct :-) I didn't unscrew front shocks, 35oil + orange piston, used 2deg anti squat, used extra short rear wheelbase, oil30+red piston rear.
Car could be a bit more stable and also lacked forward traction, but didn't want to change much in the rear, cause I needed a good amount of steering! |

My car had lots of steering and stability, the driver using it didn't. |

Losi 7202P, the only tyre able to produce drive while not attached to a cvd. Two and a half wheel drive ftw!
