Default Cougar swinging left and right when accelerate

Hi brothers! Got my Cougar and loving it, but having this strange problem with the car....when accelerate, the rear end of the car will swing to the left or to the right, it's not a violent swing, but bad enough to kill all your consistent run... I have check all the gear train, and length of socks etc..but still couldn't figure out why it will handle like this..

I do notice one thing thou, when the shocks are fully extend, and when you try to compress it, there seems to a tight spot right at where it's fully extend. It kinda feel like the bore were a little smaller towards the end and it's trapping the piston? I am using 4 hole piston all round..

Also, I am not sure anyone of you notice, when you try to fit the rear CF plate for the suspension, it can actually move up and down a little bit and causing a different on the actual length of the socks since the connecting point are not level on the tower? Can anyone share their thoughts on how to fix this?

Thank you very much and hopfully someone can give me a helping hand!

the rear tower mount should not move, you have ether fitted it the wrong way around IE the two small grooves facing out instead of in, take a close look at the manual to see what i mean here#!!!or the screw's are loose check both carefully and tighten back up,as fare as the back end breaking away, the diff may be to loose tighten it up so it feels slightly stiff when rotating wheels, let us know how u get on

I had the same problem with the loose rear end. your diff is too lose and needs to be tightened. plus adding a little weight to the left will balance it. Take a look at my thread "My almost perfect cougar"
