Default 410r vs b44.1

Wasnt sure if this was the right place for this thread if not im sure it can be moved.
Returning to racing after a 9 year break looking at a 410r or the b44.1 which is due for release later this month. They both seem to be around the same price. I just wondered if any one could tell me there thoughts. Is there anythink i need to buy which is a must that dosnt come in the kits.
Any help woulb be greatly appreciated. Regards Jamie

I have run the B44 not the .1

And recently got a DEX410R... And after watching my friends go round compared to my b44-it was a lot more planted.. and smooth over any bumps.
They are both great cars! I run 1/8th buggies so having the Durwango with diffs is easier for me, and I hate ball diffs. I think its choice, personally I would choose the DEX but=I have not driven mine yet.. spares availability is noter thing too..

had a b44 and now 2010 specs (sorry not the kit involved) but comparing the Diff and the geared, the 410 is less troublesome (just change the Xring and all will be ok with a Kyosho o Ring 5), as compared with the ball diff. the Main gear for the B44 is prone to striping (if not properly shimmed), as for the 410 just read thru some build threads and some info on the output shaft bearing wobble, then i think you are worry free till you change gear oils.

cheers!!!

I went from associated B44 to a 410R and over the bumps and jumps there is no contest the 410R wins everytime.

I would never go back to Associated again, ever since they were took over by Thunder Tiger. The B44 seems very cheap and nasty since cars of old.
