Hello everyone,
I have been thinking of getting the Team C TR04 4wd buggy for christmas. I do have a few questions about this car. 1. Can it accept nimh stick pack batteries? 2. Is it built tuff to be able to take a little beating, racing and driving around the street? |

This isnt really a buggy that anyone uses. I suppose if your just doing street bashing then fine but if you want racing as well why not buy the team associated B4.1 brushless ready to run kit. Its a 2wd and is a lot cheaper to maintain if you break it and is a proven race winning design.

They look like good cars and the TR04 does take stick packs, although unless you have them already I would skip nimhs and get lipos instead, much better run time.
In the UK it's known as the Ansmann Blizzard and hasn't been out long so not many people have had chance to try them. Before deciding to get it, check how easy it is to get hold of spares and see if anyone else is going to be racing to get some setup tips. Check out the Ansmann part of this forum for the X4 Pro as that's the competition version (takes saddles) and there should be some good info for you. |

Thanks for the replies!
I already have a B4. Now, I am looking for a 4 wd car. Parts is not an issue. I have 4 other cars, so I can just use another one. I will just lots of parts for it. This car is going to be used more for some bashing and driving aorund the neighborhood and school yard. Surprisingly, at my track people drive all sorts of cars that don't always have part support like X-6 and Schumacher. I will also take a look at the Ansmann Blizzard. |

The Ansmann Blizzard shares many parts in common with the X4Pro (different shocks however and chassis plate) and it can take a bit of abuse. Just look at Stu Woods' recent performance with his X4 pro to see that these cars are very competetive.

Yea, but I am really interested in the TR04. Also, I think it is the only one that is for sale in USD prices. All the other companies sell there cars in Euros.
Also, I am looking for a inexpensive car. Not a really expensive one. |

Both the Team C and the Ansmann are the same car - just marketed by different companies:
TR04 = Ansmann Blizzard TC04 = Ansmann X4pro spare parts should also be the same and interchangable so i'd say go for it ![]() ![]() |

All right, that is good news. Would you know of any web site that sells the TR04 in kit form and that the price is in USD? I have been looking around and havn't found anything.
