Default Macnum Brushless problem

Hi guy and forgive me if this question has been asked before but i can't find it and am new on this forum.

Basically i have an Ansmann macnum and have converted it to a brushless system.

It has anezrun 35a 9t set up in it.

The first time i ran it the diff melted the main gear.

Replaced gear but have had to tighten screw that tight that it has almost locked the diff as it just slips.

ran it tonight and it kept stopping but the motor and slipper clutch where rotating as normal.

When stripped it down found that i have stripped the teeth on the centre gear.

does any one run a similar system and had same problem.

Is there any mods i can do to over come these problems i.e metal diff.

Thanks for looking Ste

I suppose if could be put in this section, but your probably get more responses from the Annsman section.

Also If you put on the title : Macnum Brushless Problem

Then people are more likely to open the post knowing you require some help.

Unforunately I do not run that car or brushless system, so I cannot be of help but i'm sure someone will.

is the gearbox ball raced if not this will help solve some of your problems for starters and the diff will not melt the main gear

my kids are running 2 mad rats with 10.5 and the missus is using a macnum also with 10.5 on lipo's with no problems at all

They can easily handle those motors, it must have no bearings and be a bit worn on the bushings/shafts like the above post says

Hi, I run a macnum basher and so does a friend, I've had a 12x1 and now a 10x1 in it and ballraced it from new, pulls wheelies, did tighten diff a lot to stop it slipping and does sound gritty now but had loads of bashing hasstle.
Looks like it's been slipping to melt it, I've experienced the diff coming loose and stop as soon as things look like it's not performing just right.
My pal has a 7x1 in and has no more probs than too fast into concrete! He ballraced up too!! Including the ones in the diff!!

Where u find best place for parts??
