What o rings are people using for the SV shocks?

Not sure at the moment, but I've got leaking shocks. I'm not racing this weekend so will be rebuilding them and checking again ready for next weekend.

I've heard people say there is a bed in period.

If you can, try soaking them in a small amount of shock oil overnight, this way they will expand and make a better seal once rebuilt.

Ok thanks I will try this.

I have spare oil I don't use so I'll put some in a tub overnight and go from there.. Got spare schumacher oil, but I use Losi.

i just packed ares with geen slim when i built them, not had a problem . yet

Think we did that - it was very late!

Either way I'll be stripping them down and then re doing them. I'll go for both methods.

soak o rings and pack them with green slim..

Hopefully will have big bores for the Cat SX to do soon too..

How much green slim are you using and are you just coating the rings or the washer too?

i just coated both rings with a good layer, i didn't fill up the whole shock seal chamber

Does anybody know if the big bore shocks need the center of the diaphragms cutting like the standard shocks?
