Default MP9 Steering ackermann..

Does anyone bother using a flanged bearing to go in here??

I changed to these on the RB5/FS and it got rid of a load of slop..

If people do, what size do you use!

Cheers

Nick

no real need for bearings here.. hardly any 1/8 car has bearings on the steering ackerman, dont think bearings would be up to the abuse.

a little slop in the ankerman is fine tbh. ive had the same steering/ackerman parts in for about a year before they'd need replacing.

how you getting on with the mp9?

no bearing, just a very little shim will get rid of the slop. Don't remove all the slop, it's no onroad touring car.... losing al the slop in your car will give you a very sensitive nervous car ;-)
