Default B4 to B4.1

Hi Guys, I have given my B4FT a bit of a freshen up and got it to as close as B4.1 as I can, and it has not cost too much either!

These are the parts I have used:

AS9612- Steel front Axles £6.99
AS7485- V2 Slipper Pads £12.50
AS7486- V2 Slipper Spring £1.99
AS7487- Rear B4.1 hinge pin blocks £5.99

I also added a Trish Bits front bulk head too.

Then I wanted to upgrade to the V2 shocks, rather than pay out £40 a pair I ordered up the shock bodies and shafts etc to make them into V2's. They have gone together really nicely and are so much easier to bleed etc than the kit B4 shocks.

I used the following:

AS6433 - Bleeder Shock caps
AS1777 - B44 shock ends
AS9723 - 0.80 front shafts for more droop same as B4.1
AS7475 - Front Shock Bodys V2
AS7479 - Rear Shock Bodys V2

The only parts I am waiting on is the Crystal Clear Gear cover and have ordered the AS9865 0.5 deg rear FT Hubs. Thanks to CML and MK Racing for the parts.

Pics to follow.

The servo in there is a Align servo, same as a Savox but blue and they are only £41 retail.

I have also got the new JC Punisher shell to be painted up by Proper Paints, I'll post some pics when its painted up.

I have also found these I will go for too:

AS7922 30 deg front C hubs, I already have a set of 30deg ones but these have 3 holes for more adjustment.

Also when I break the shock towers these will be replaced with B4.1 versions:

AS9568 Front Tower
AS9572 Rear Tower

Give your tyres a clean, then it will look uber nice

Nice work though...did you find the shocks easier to bleed because of the bleeder caps, or was it the entire package. I have the V1 shock bodies, but with the bleeder caps, and find them very easy to bleed equally.

Cheers
Mark

Yes I should have put fresh rubber on for the pics!!

I had the bleeder caps already on orginal shocks and this was miles better the V2 shocks feel a little smoother but maybe it because they have new seals in them. They will be a darn site easier to re build and the seals won't blow on the big jumps.

I am yet to race it yet but I am hoping to give it a run at Taplow this weekend

Are there any other changes needed to bring the B4 up to full B4.1 spec?
