Hi guys!
I was wondering what the exact difference between these 2 esc´s is? I am not sure if i could use the SXX TC Stock Spec for 2WD offroad? Is it only that they have a slightly difference software and will this be of a negative effect for 2WD Offroad? Any suggestions welcome ![]() Thanks in advance! |

Hi Johannes
I can only advise you of my own opinion here. I use the SXX Stockspec for 13.5 stock racing. For that application its fantastic. I think however you will end up running it on its slowest settings just to keep control of the power with your 2WD buggy. You do not need variable timing in off road. Just smooth controllable power. The SXX TC Spec is the highest spec model for balls out mod touring car racing with 3.5 motors. Totally over the top when you`ll only be runnning motors of 6.5 and slower. Again, you`ll probably need to have it set on its slowest settings just to keep control of the car. The fan isnt needed in 2wd either. LRP recommend and have designed this model for 2WD off road. http://www.lrp.cc/en/products/electr...egler/details/ When im looking for a 2WD speedo for my 201x, then ill be after one of those too i think. I used to run a LRP Sphere Tc Spec with the fan removed set on its slowest setting for punch in my B4 Hope that helps ![]() |

Thanks Rich, i think i will go for the SXX Competition since i think i won´t really need the SXX TC. I will try a 8.5t Vector X12 (or Pearl as Nosram calls their motors) and will see how it performs. If i feel the need for more punch i´ll try a 7.5t.
