Default wheels

I haven't made it yet, so not sure this is the right section, but I'm wanting to know what the big companies use to glue tyres onto wheels that they sell as "pre-glued".

I know how to glue my own tyres, but I'm looking at getting the best tyres, wheel and insert combination myself.

I meant if I we're to do it commercially on a large scale basis, ie get a machine in to do it automatically.

Hey,

Have a read of this about AKA tyres: http://www.neobuggy.net/modules/news...p?storyid=8167

From article:

"It started back in late summer of 2008 when I got a phone call from my dear friend Gil Losi Jr., he had a project for me so I could make some money. He told me that he needed help with the gluing of pre-mounts and would pay me on a per piece basis. So I glued tires in my friends garage for about 7 months and calculated in that time alone I had glued about 20,000 tires myself, not to mention the 4,000 that my friend Keith Whisler glued before finding a job in the industry. After that many tires your thumb really takes a beating from the repeated pulling back on the bead of the tire to apply glue. My thumb eventually earned the nickname "Robo Thumb" because of how strong it became.

In March 2009 AKA officially took me on, and having trained people how to glue tires properly in very large quantities, I still use my spare time to glue tires after hours! From August 2008 to present day I have glued well in excess of 45,000 individual tires. Earning me the nickname of "The Hobot" from Gil Losi Jr. in reference to working like a robot (7 days a week) and my last name Hodapp / Hobot.
"

Default OMG!

Wow! I thought you we're having me on there for a while. I can do that, I've got the supplies, just need to get the practice. The last time I glued tyres was on my f109, and used Sweep strong tyre glue (type A), which I was really impressed by.
