Default central spur / slipper axle moving back and forth

I noticed that the central slipper moves back and forth , not fitted perfect (about 1 mm) i checked my manual and all parts are correctly set up.

is this normal? is there a way to make this central axles fitted perfectly. or it needs to be a bit loose for good functionality?

thanks

mine moves only so slightly probably not enough to notice by eye but it can be felt and everything still spins free. i dont know if the play is ok but on my cars the less play the better so i shimmed mine out.

yes it hard to see it but the axle does move in and out the rear gearbox, this means that the contact between the beveled gears inside the gearbox is not optimal. and this might break something...

do you know how to solve this?
