That's a shame, Maybe your only option is to speak to Spud31 (rich b) and see if he will part with his new built 511?

Glad your liking it mate, I'll keep an eye out for one for you.

I have used banzai hobby several times before. Very responsive and good. Not sure about etamiya, you can see that they got loads of domains registered to them. I have also found some feedback on the net that makes you look twice. Try to research on etamiya first before putting any order in. I don't know about rcstation though.

Argh - i emailed them on Friday asking whether they had a 511 in stock and they replied yes so i duly ordered it! i have paid for EMS shipping too £50 so i sincerely hope that i havent been tossed off. I will let everyone know on this thread as soon as it arrives safely.

Had an email to say that my order was "processing" thus far which i guess you`d expect with it being a weekend.

Yeah, 'we' have had a few orders from etamiya, and they've taken weeks to arrive... Though one was over Xmas...

Hopefully with EMS they'll do better...

You were lucky mate! This little lot is over £650 so far without any electrics because of having to get parts from several different places around the world. I emailed RC Champ and they said that they havent got any more 511 and cant get any more either. Im wondering whether there will be a 511X or suchlike out for the Euros with some minor mods. I had that kit you bought in my watched items too for ages trying to convince myself that i didnt want a new chassis . The rear alloy hubs i couldnt find anywhere. Eventually tracked some down in Finland for £39

Tamiya USA has the 511 back in stock.
Tower Hobbies lists it as "discontinued."
Ebay has "nONE" wOW!

Seems people are buying the snot out of them as of late and whipping online
stores out!

As the distributor they have to sell at MSRP, they can't discount...

Not really, I have £300 worth of parts in the ether at the moment waiting for the ash cloud to sort out!

Tamiya buy in is huge, but the car is on rails, made my old SX look look a toy on the track...
