Question Nosram Evil Power ESC with mind of it's own..

I am running a Nosram Evil Power ESC with a Speed Passion 10.5 motor. Almost every race night the ESC will lose it's settings, e.g. motor goes in to reverse after changing a battery pack or suddenly needs 20 notches of throttle trim. Not good on the start line!
Anyone else with the same problem? Instructions seem to suggest compatability issues with some 2.4GHz receivers - I run Spektrum 2.4GHz so maybe that's the problem?

I had a similar problem with one of the lrp/nosram AI speedo's. When I plugged the battery in I would get reverse when trying to go forward. The way to fix it is to check when you plug in the battery if its working properly and if not unplug the battery and plug it in again and it should work. If that doesn't solve it then it should be spektrum that's causing it.

Thanks - will try that before looking for another receiver.
