Neither the fuel filter nor the air filter are necessary. Remove them both, it improves the liquid and air flow...

Likewise, who cares about checking tire pressure and oil level on a full size car?

I guess you should ask the question; would you run your 1/1 car with no air filter, oil filter, fuel filter and then throw gravel into the engine!! It's pretty much the same principle!

A lot of the top boys run 2...as do I, they shouldn't restrict fuel flow, only if full of dirt, and that kina answears the question of weather they should be there or not if you have to clean or change them.

oh yer if you are doing big meets, and running big or more than one filter check your fuel capacity before you race,

i would agree that it depends on what and were you are running, a dusty day at slough with a rallyx car, with refuling stops is prob a much more dirty enviroment that a nice summers day at a tarmac circuit

Not a necessity..

TRF actory driver Ryan Lutz doesn't run one.. and I think he knows what he's doing

He says they don't fill all the way up leaving air in the tops... which can lead to in consistant tunes, flameouts, etc..

So before you begin your roasting sessions on ppl asking for help. Maybe try to visualize outside your narrow minded box and think a little.. and honestly, how many of you actually clean them out regularly anyways? Kind of defeats the purpose imo.. but oh I forgot all of you are perfect rite?
