I've run the old nosram motors before Tekin had theirs available and I ran similar setup from what I can remember.

This is what I run in offroad and change very little between 2wd or 4wd

Dual mode
timing 80%
db10%
bs 100%
tp 4
lm 90% maybe more if you are using hi c rated lipos)
nw 8%

hope that helps

Sounds like you've been unlucky with that, I've been running Tekin speedos for over 2 years now and haven't had one speedo failure. Actually I think I've only ever seen one failure in another car. They are definately the most reliable electronics I've ever had..

Hope you get it sorted soon though,

Is it a sintered rotor you have in that motor? Also do you have the brakes set up to 100%? make sure when you are on full brakes all the lights are flashing on the speedo, if not it needs setting up again.

You should have plenty of brakes, I have to turn mine down on the transmitter!

I've got a RS hooked up to a Novak Mongoose in my 1/18th scale and I can't ever get the brakes as sharp as I want them... it's a real shame, at Caldicot I found myself braking 2/3rds of the way down the straight just to slow down enough for the corner.

Turn the brake strength up on them Jon, they are only at lights 4+5 for standard setup. You can up them a lot without problems.

Mine's set to 0 and my brake strength is set to 100, with brake end point at 150 on my transmitter

your neutral width should be set to 1&2 LED's lit (8 on the hotwire)
Your Brake Strength should be 100

What are your exact settings, including motor timing.

Make sure that all lights are flashing when you are on full brakes. If not the speedo is not going to full brakes even if you have the speedo set to 100%
