i haven't seen any, and they would look really odd in the proportions of the shark, the thing is square! lol

I am guessing the body off this would fit?

http://www.s-m-d.co.uk/lrp-s18-touri...-rtr-i694.html

But the wheels would probably be poking out of the side on a normal shark.

the shocks are also longer on the shark so it would be mounted up high and look REALLY odd!!

only heard of the stratus body that's allready been pointed out. Thought that a Mardave shell might fit, but it might just look odd.

Phat Bodies are working on a mini body for our WORM Ice Racing series but that's about it, not heard of anything else.

Oh and before you ask, it's not available yet.

As Jon says, the "Banzai Mini" is currently in the development process but we are hoping to have some shells in our shop within the next couple of weeks keep an eye out here - http://phatbodies.co.uk/

And also as Jon says, the WORM boys will be starting their traditional Summer Ice Race series very soon, and most are hoping to be running the new Mini in this series for some super realistic wheel to wheel ice racing .... keep an eye on here for some pics and vids - http://www.uk-microrc.co.uk/forum/in...?showforum=222

Si --
So will that awesome looking Mini you're working on fit a ST-width Shark/Vendetta, or the narrow Buggy version????

"Standard-length" chassis I suppose?

That thing will rock with a proper Union Jack painted on the roof

EDIT = appears the LWB chassis/ST width will be the one

It's being designed to fit a LWB ST, that's a ST with an SC chassis. It's what most of us UK racers are running now the chassis are a bit easier to get hold of. Pushes them to about 188/190mm, making the car a lot nicer to drive.

OK Jon, hope to hear for sure from Si on this, but that's why I asked.
From the pic it "looked" about as wide as it was long, unlike an SC chassis ST, and was just wondering the actual specs so as to make plans.

I've had a LWB ST chassis for over a year , so I'm up on all of the benefits....definately not as "twitchy."

I thought the chassis had only been available to buy since about November last year?

When I asked Dan if I should build up my spare ST as a long or short for drifting he said long, which Si seemed to agree with, but wait until the man himself speaks.

"Available," yes - but I had one long before that, and actually had my own modified version (two mated chassis plates) built up about a year ago. It still sits in the ol' pitbox as a spare.

To be honest we've never even tried a lwb chassis in proper drift form, but as a buggy they do drift amazingly well so I'm assuming that the drifter will be equally as good but hopefully better

and also the lwb chassis gives a 190mm wheelbase and around 190mm width so is just about do-able as a saloon racer .... swb would have been good for a "Smart car"

So............back to my question on your "Mini" project.....

what length chassis, old/standard SWB or the new LWB SC ????
