Trophies and raffle prizes...
Slight change of plan.
We shall be handing out the trophies for the Winter Championship on Friday 9 April now and that night we will also do the raffle prizes. There is no racing next week on Friday due to the Easter Weekend, however we are racing on the Monday night (29 March 2010). This week is racing as normal, although we are going to trial three qualifying heats of 4 mins and 1 final only this time to see what people think and we shall run the next championships like this. We'll also be running different tracks for the next four weeks...

Picked up the trophies this evening and they look great. Hope you can all make it on Friday 9 April when we shall be handing out the trophies and doing the championship raffle which has over £100 worth of goodies on offer. Last minute tickets will be available on the Friday before we hold the raffle.
All extra funds raised go into the club funds so it's a worthy cause folks.

We have now held the raffle at this evenings meeting and well done to all those who won something, special well done to Matt Gammons who was the lucky winner of the Personal Transponder which the club donated to the prizes
There were 10 unclaimed tickets and Russell has got the numbers along with 10 prizes, so if you missed us tonight you can pop into the model shop in Oakley to see if you are a winner. We will be running the raffle again for the Spring Indoor Championship that starts on Friday April 23 so hopefully we'll have even more great prizes to hand out at the end of that one too. Remember that every driver gets a free ticket for each car they race at every round plus you can buy an extra strip for £1. Again the club will be offering a PT as part of the prize fund so get buying those tickets once the Championship starts. All proceeds go towards the final prize fund and as always we are delighted to get help and support from Schumacher for prizes too
