Default wheel to sticks

I've just returned after 20odd years out. I bought a Spektrum DX3S to use in my buggy and touring cars. It's a wheel and I'm struggling with it and would like to go back to sticks. I'm new to the whole 2.4ghz game, can I buy a 2.4ghz stick transmitter that'll work with my current receivers (SR3300T and SR300) or do I have to replace the whole shabang?

You could get yourself a Sanwa Super Exzes, Super Exzes Plus or a Futaba 3VC or 3VCS or a modified KO Transmitter as long as they have a Spectrum DSM or DSM Pro module in them. They will work with your current receivers.

Good option would be KoPropo Esprit 2 or 3. Spektrum makes modules for these and you'll might even find second hand one with it included.
