Default New B4 shock towers

I've seen on some US forums that the new-style B4 shock towers might be out now (slight change to shock mounting positions and more space for LiPo).

Any idea if these are on UK shelves yet? If so, where?

On this link are some nice pics of Cavileri's B4 with 4.1 bits and a motor centrering kit on it.

I may have a go at the motor centering mod, don't know if it will make much difference?!

If I understand correctly, the inside hole on the new tower is like the drilled 4th hole, so this makes the inside hole on the old tower the middle hole on the new tower? Correct?

Any idea when this will be out?

I always used to run the motor centering kit on Losi XX back in the day - I found it made the car a bit more predictable under power and in the air. It also looked pretty cool!

Might be a bit thick here but what does the motor centre-ing kit do? Moves the motor to where?

The motor moves across to the right more when looking from the rear. Basically, there are some spacers inserted between the motor plate and gearbox casing.

As someone said before, there was an aftermarket one for the Losi, many many years ago that did the same.

Should only require spacers and longer bolts....

SteveB is running that kit on his XXCR Kinwald and it makes the car much better.

maybe when the b4.1 is out they will give a list of the new parts as spares or maybe even upgrade parts for the b4.

i would be interested in the motor centering mod, might help keep the weight central

I was looking on the AE site and the part numbers appear to be the same for the B4 and B4.1, so it's going to be difficult to order the new ones until shops have sold all the old ones.

How are you planning to differentiate between them on your site Darren?
