Racing indoor at Bisley on Friday and it's a non-carpet evening meaning that with a 4WD it's really drifty, but my B4 spends most of it's time swapping ends
![]() Does anyone have any advice on tyres/setup that will mean I can use it on the shiny concrete surface that is a little dusty too? Tips on Slipper/Diff/Tyres greatly received!! ![]()

Schumacher full spikes or Mini pins (yellows), softer rear springs than the front. 35wt shock oil. Loosen the diff. We race on polished wooden floor and I've suffered this problem with past set-ups. I've not run the B4 but I'm sure others who do will chip in.

The same setup I keep mentioning when I am there. Yellow mini pins all round (you already have fronts)
Standard Carpet setting oils 35 front size 2 piston, and 30 rear size 1 piston. For the concrete slippery surface I would use Instead of silver on the rear use Green, and instead of blue on the front use silver. Carpet use the Silver on the rear and blue on the front. Front wishbones just under level and rear uj just under level, should be fine. I wouldnt advise loosening the diff, as your car wont need it at the speed your going at. Slipper you could adjust it so that it fractionally slips (hold the car to the surface by the rear shock tower and full throttle it to see if the slipper slips and loosen the nut until it starts to slip and pull at the same time) Im not there this Friday but will see you for the carpet race and help you out more if you want.

Thanks Welshy, appreciate the advice. Last night fitted the rear yellow Schuey mini pins, loosened off the slipper and fitted black springs to the rear (All I had other than the silvers). Dropped the ride height and might even consider lobbing 60 grams into the rear to get it some rear end grip and lighten the front a touch. Worth doing?

I think black will be way to soft. Extra weight may help with your lipos but if anyone is racing a b44 this friday borrow the rear green springs and try it. Im happy to loan a set to you in three weeks time.

Last time I ran my B4 on polished wood I moved the weight back and it really helped calm the rear end down.

Cool, I'll run the Lipo at the back and put in 60g over the rear axle to see what that does....
