I used to keep rc cars as a teenager and raced them for a while, since then travelling, job, wife, kids etc.... all happened and it got forgotten about. I found my cars recently at my parents house, and now I have more time again I'd like to get back into it.
I currently have an original tamiya hotshot and one the first ever kyosho ultima. Are these worth anything, and roughly how much, and do people collect these "classic" cars. I want to start racing again really and maybe go for a nitro, so although these are fun they will be useless against a modern car and might help to fund a new one. Thanks Chris |

These cars are collectable but all depending on condition. I wouldnt use them now and would advise buying something new, maybe a ready to run rc10 B4 which is cheap to run and maintain.
I would advise looking on these sites before selling and asking questions to get an idea on what they are worth http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_m...80944&id=23061 http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.ph...6940eb5fd2f44d Also hope some guys from oople give their advice as well. Good luck.
