Default Speed Passion motors

Has anybody got any info on V3 motors from the above?

I want to know RPM ratings for the 5.5, 6.5, 7.5 to see how they differ.

Ive got a 7.5 and it wasnt very fast in my Durango even when i played with the gearing??

Anything else i need to know about these?

Mine was geared on a 25 pinion, standard spur. It was really really sluggish.
I thought it was way overgeared though. I advanced the timing aswell and it was better. This was with running 4800 LRP lipos brand new. Do lipos get better after a few charges? Ive never noticed it before on brand new ones but just a thought?

I run a 18/84 setup on the 7.5 in the B44 and it's got plenty of speed

I've run a 5.5 also and it's very fast.

Don't think it works quite like that, as long as the speedo is hitting 100% you wont gain speed, you'll just hit full speed earlier in the sticks travel

Im going to have a look at my throttle curve.
I may have left it on the -scale from when i was using an LRP X12 motor which was balistic.

I was using brand new LRP Lipos 4800 40C. Surely they dont need to be run in before they are good??

I've got a SP V3 7.5T on my TRF501 and it is quite fast, at least for indoor racing.

ESC is Losi Xcelorin S and there was a huge difference between initial acceleration settings "normal" and "high" (default), where that high felt far better for my liking, and normal felt rubberbandish... (slow in other words...)
