Default Help Needed Old Cougar Parts

Hi all..

I recently bought an old cougar with the plan to run it at some vintage events, unfortunatley the diff is pretty shot and now I have stripped it down I see why...

Have looked on schey site but none of which are listed anymore so if anyone has the parts I could buy / have I would be eternally grateful

T1156 - Hub x 2
T1171 - 51 Tooth Pulley
A520 - Thrust bearing assembly
T1155 - Male Tri Lobed washer carrier
T1213 - Femail Tri Lobed washer carrier
T1170 Pully Side fence
A500 - 3mm diff balls
A066 - M3 x 45mm Countre sunk diff screw
T195 - Drive belt
T196 - 21 tooth Pulley
T197 - Spacer

Pretty much the whole diff and outsrive assembley !!

Any help would be appreciated

Lee

I have a cougar with most of the front half missing, happy to send it you if you want. it's got the full diff assembly attached to the chassis so it'll probably be what you need. plus then you'll have a couple of extra bits in case you crash it.

Let me take a picture of it later and post it up so you can see whats attached.. might have red metal plate instead of the silver one if you'd prefer that.

Diff Assembly with the side off

Rear Hubs and Driveshafts x2

O.o Carbon fibre front end lol..

Some spur gears

I need to find (i have them in a "spares box" the ballraces for the shaft which the spur gear assembly is attached to which go inside the plastic assembly housing.. they're somewhere, i just couldn't find them in time before i took the pictures. I also seem to not have any screws for the transmission housing But I'm sure you have a man draw full of screws The driveshafts have both sides to them, but if I were you i'd find some CVD's as the plastic ones were never really brilliant anyway, depends what your going to use it for, it you want to race it, defo upgrade (if you can find any!

if you want all that lot, i'll take 10 quid for all of it, or if you just want the transmission call it a 5er. then add 5er p&p for everything or 2.50 p&p for just the transmission. Though we can negotiate if you feel that's unfair

was it? i wondered what he was going on about with a belt pulley.. that explains why the front end is laydown and not upright.

Sure someone told me it was a cougar when they sold it me..

hi both..

yes thats either the cougar 2000 or the fireblade as the cougar 2 was belt driven it also didnt have a topdeck like the one you have..so probably no good for the bits although i will get a manual downloaded and see if the outdrivesetc fit and will let you know...

cheers anywway, but will let you know if they will work..

Cool, I thought I was going senile for a moment there, I didn't think I had a Fireblade as I remember always wanting one. That cougar 2000 was proper rapid as well.
