Question deans and standered timiya

hi

i was just wondering if there is an advantage to using deans connecters than the standered timiya (if that is what you call them) connecters.

i'm confused !!!

dene`s connectors carry more current and give better efficiency that tamiya ones do.......... and if running lipo and brushless they are less prone to melt and give u longer run time i think

Deans are a huge improvement over Tamiya connectors, to be honest Tamiya style connectors are hardly capable of running standard electrics let alone anything with a higher current draw.
