Default What 2WD Tyres for grass?

Hi guys

Not raced for 15 years...and thinking of doing some vintage racing with a Losi XX.

Used to race a Cougar/Cougar 2000 off road (grass only) with the following:

Front 2.0 inch wheels
Yellow/Green Minispikes (outer row trimmed) or Staggered Ribs

Rear 2.2 inch wheels
Green or Blue Minispikes

Is this still a good choice, or have tyres (for grass) moved on since then?

Yellow minispikes front and rear.

Think they are only available in 2.2"

Best bet is to ask the racers at your local track which tyres work best where you'll be racing.

Nevertheless, Schumacher minispike yellows in the dry, greens in the wet seems to be a pretty common choice for astro or grass.

Cheers,
Ty

i dont know if this helps but on astroturf (which is like grass) it is reccomended that you use schumacher yellow mini-spikes.
