Default Old cells

Remember those round metal things we used to use? Is there a use for them now these days? I seem to have loads lying around

Default old cells

you could always make a 24 or 30 cell pack then half charge them and short them out whilst doing so,,,,,,,makes a great 'banger' for bonfire night

Separate them all out, then make a pyramid with them, glue them together, and use them as a paper weight.

I wouldn't be within a 100 meter radius of that bonfire when all those cells vent and ignite...

+1!!!

I wouldn't say we're unlucky - the fun had banger racing outweighs the disadvantages of not being able to use LiPo.

Seriously though - if you've got NiMh's to sell - PM me.

I actually still have some very good ones, as I am still running them for 12th scale. In fact I have a few brand new packs that are to be used at the Euros and will then be done with.

I'd be hugely grateful of any cells that are in any way serviceable. I'm between jobs at the moment and have no money to go Lipo The cells I have at the moment are 3 years old from Demon and aren't BRCA legal. If any of the 3800+ cell are up for grabs I'd happily pay postage + a nominal fee .
