The BRCA Micro Committee are actively looking for new Committee members for the 2010-11 season.

Time Keeper
The Time Keeper is required to attend all rounds of the BRCA Micro National Series.

The Time Keeper will be responsible for booking in, lap counting, finals arrangement and any other duties relating to the running of the timing software.

The timing software that the Committee use is the 2010 RC-Timing software, more information is available HERE.

Chief Scrutineer
The Chief Scrutineer is required to attend all rounds of the BRCA Micro National Series.

The Chief Scrutineer will be responsible for all scrutineering at BRCA Micro National rounds, and will ensure that all cars meet the requirements of the rules.

Scrutineering equipment will be provided by the Committee for use by the Chief Scrutineer.

If the Committee are unable to fill these positions then clubs hosting a National round will be tasked with providing people to fill these roles on the day.

Webmaster
There will be a new BRCA website over the Summer that all Sections will be required to use. Therefore the existing brcamicro.org website will be made redundant as of the Summer.
We will therefore need a webmaster to update the BRCA Micro Section website once the new CMS driven site is released.

Entries Officer
Our current Secretary/Entries Officer/Treasurer is standing down as of the EGM in April, therefore we will require an Entries Officer who will be responsible for tasks relating to National Series entry all the way to arranging the Section laptop ready for each National meeting. Specific duty details will be agreed after the EGM.

Secretary
As above, we require a Secretary to act as the first point of contact for external enquiries, directing correspondence to the relevant people, booking rooms and taking notes at meetings etc.

Treasurer
As above, we require a Treasurer for the 2010 Season and beyond. The role is a sensitive one, dealing with the Section finances, entry fees and "keeping the books straight".

Health & Safety Officer
We also require a Health & Safety officer to ensure that the health and safety requirements are met at each National meeting from rostrum safety, track safety to trailing cables and the like.
