Default Lipo Short help

Whilst racing tonight I went to plug a new lipo in my car and instead just connected it to the old lipo I had taken out. There was a little spark just as it connected which made me jump and instantly unplug the pack. (basically the 2 connectors just bushed each other for 1/4 of a second etc)

The question is, how can I check they are ok? I plugged one back into the car and it seems fine, but I dont want to ruin my expensive ESC so I still unplugged it as I dont know much about lipos etc.

Would I be able to check the battery by putting it on a charger etc?

Your batt's are fine. That wouldn't have done any damage.
