Unhappy Dead Lipo

OK so one of my Lipos has died - Max Amps 6000 stick pack. What do I do now, how do I dispose of it safely??

There is a method involving putting them in saltwater to discharge them before throwing them away...but if you google it there appears to be a right and wrong way to go about doing it properly!

I don't know the details but there does seem to be a lot of discussion about the subject on various rc forums. Maybe we need a battery manufacturer to advise on the best way, I'd trust their input the most.

Good luck!

Your local council recycling site will take it off you and dispose of it.

Still not sure they knew what it was but I left my Lipo in the "household batteries" section as directed by council workers.
