Default Fueling problem

When I got my c max 2.0tdci 55 reg I had no problem filling it to the brim. By the end of the first year it was a struggle to get the last gallon of diesel in. Now a year later on the pumps at any station seem to stop filling leaving me 2 gallons from full every time. You can fill it if you,ve got the patience to do it in 10 pence spurts but it takes too long. It had warranty work on the fuel system which was completely replaced before I bought it.
Any ideas whats wrong.

its normally the later ones with the capless system we have trouble with

have you tried holding the filler nozzle upside down or changing its angle?

I,ve tried different angles and removing it in case the diesel was foaming but it still wont go in. I know its about 2 gallons short because the trip computor reads only 420miles to empty. It used to read 505 miles
