Default Speed Passion motor to esc connections

Hi -

Is the connecting of a speed passion esc and motor "easier" with the connector system?

Does it make the connection a solder free experience?

Or would i still need to solder wires onto the speedo and the motor connectors onto the wires?

Cheers

it's quicker to change motors yes. Assuming they are both SP v3 motors.

You still need to solder the wires to the speedo and to the plugs.

some people experience unsoldering when the plugs aren't fitting the motors perfectly.

Heat only builds up when the Plugs don't fit snug

I have heard that if you buy new from some shops they will solder the leads etc up for you - anyone had this from NW shops?

Whatever I go for it will be an xmas pressie from the wife anyway so a bit to wait as yet.
