I am just about to get my DEX410 and I have been looking into lipos. I currently have 2 packs of Intellect 4200 30c saddle packs which I know will fit fine in the durango, however I am wondering about the higher spec 5300 45c intellect lipos with the white/blue sticker, they measure 69x46.5x25mm a couple of mm higher than the older 4200 packs, can any of the durango owners tell me what the maxmium clearance is for the height of a pack for clearance under the rear centre shaft ?
I would love to try out some of the 45c packs soon. Thanks Raymond

That wont really work, Intellect has some 5000 35c packs that just came out and are 23mm tall.

23.5mm is about the maximum you can squeeze in.

I use the new LRP 4800mah 40c packs. They are simply awesome. You need to fit them upside down though because of the shaped locating lugs!!

ive got orion lipos 24.5mm high in mine, with a bit of shimming. Basically you want to raise everything up 1mm or so.
I'm sure 25mm is fine in mine. try and get some pics for you tomorrow. |

That would be great. I will be using my intellect 4200s for the time being, but would like to try better cells in the near future, rather than buying more of the same.
Some pics would be great, should be getting my Durango next week. Raymond
