Default Novak GTS+ lipo

Hi, does anyone know if a 2s 7.4 lipo could be used with a GTS speedo and a 19t brushed motor?

Would it be best to put a voltage cutoff on, if there is such a thing, to protect the lipos?

I think you can get add on boxes to give cut offs, but if you stop when you feel it getting slow you'll be ok. I've found mine will go really slow for about 3/4 of a lap before stopping dead using the lipo cut off.

you don't want to drop the lipo below 3v/cell ideally.
