Hi,
I was wondering if there is any advice available for setting up an x6 sq with additional weights, mostly around the front. I have heard of the 65/35 weight ratio but seen a lot of different amounts of weight used when investigating on line. Use the car on carpet with wooden ramps and yellow mini pins. Have around 110gms (total) in the two triangular openings at front of chassis and 4x15gm squares stuck at the front of each of the channels where the nicad stick pack would go. Still seems to land on its ass when i jump. Should i put more weight closer to the front or just practice jumping more. And what is the deal with changing direction in the air? Cannot make it work consistantly. ![]() Cheers. |

I have the Trish Bits brass bulk head and GPM racing aluminium top plate and run a Sanwa ERG-VZ servo and find that it flies flat now in the air rather that the front going right up. Remember that if you have any automatic drag set on your speedo then the nose will drop over jumps. You need to increase throttle to get the nose up and put the brakes on to bring the nose down whilst in the jump. If you have the 3 gear gear box this action will be less than with the 4 gear.

If not then this is how we run the wing literally 99% of the time. Also a front wing helps a little to keep the nose down if the above doesn't work. Dan
