Default X6 anti-roll bar?

Hi,

what thickness anti-roll bars are people using?

Gonna purchase some piano wire tomorrow and need to know what thickness to get.

Dan the man told me at Worksop but can't remember.

Thanks

Craig Collinson

Mostly 1.2mm, but if you're purchasing you might find it useful to get a size either side of that. So something like 0.9mm, 1.2mm & 1.5mm.

If you struggle to get some, let me know (on this thread or PM) and I'll bring the spare lengths of wire I have.

I've always used B4 ones on mine, you cut a little slot in the back bulkhead and the rear tower holds it in place. AE roll bar is perfect.

Nearly always used the black one (thinest)

I use a B44 sway bar. The kit comes with a few thicknesses. I hold the bar on using the holders from a Losi swaybar kit (XXX-S or 4).

I mainly use 0.9mm, rarely a 1.2mm.

Hey Guys

I want to fit my b4 anti roll bar on my original x6 ready for worksop
but i notice there are no balls on the arms to pop the ends onto

Has anyone else got this problem or can you not fit an anti roll bar to the
old x6?

You need to drill the arms and put in some ball links, dont ask me what size but I think you get some in the B4 roll bar kit.

Original 4 gear x6 rear arms come pre drilled with hole in the rear arms you just need to screw in a ball joint....
