Are the tamiya wheels that are for the 501x really that good for the price as i fancy ordering some for the xx4 as they are cheaper then the losi ones.

They are definitely higher quality than the pro-line b4 rear rims if that helps. Not sure how they compare against the Losi rims.

Iv had issues with some wheels that i recently bought. I originally ran the kit wheels and they were perfect. The replacement set which were approx 4 meetings old, wobbled about on acceleration, i realise that if you always check the tightness of the nyloc nuts holding the wheels on, it squashes the rims and distorts them
![]() This weekend, i also stripped the hex away (plastic) as the wheel had surprisingly come loose and the pin had come out whilst racing. 3wd again lol. What nuts are everyone using for the car btw. The Tamiya ones are deffo not upto the job. Col. ![]() |

Well im goign to be running them on a xx4 so the wheel nuts are quiet big and are of good quiality so maybe they will be ok with a xx4 ill buy a set and give them a go.
