B4 Front end play

I have noticed quite a bit of play in the ball joints on the front of my B4.

I have replaced the cups with the RPM versions, but think the balls themselves have worn out and need replacing as the car is starting to wander a bit and generally feels a bit sloppy.

Does anyone know of any alternative ball studs for the B4? I know the whole kit from Asso is about £13, but if there is another option I would be temped to give them a go...

I replaced all of the outer hinge pins, and balljoints (balls and ends) on my car recently. It has improved the slop a lot.

I replaced wishbones and hubs and it's like a new car now. also popped on new RPM cups with the original balljoints and they seem really nice now
