Default Schotky diode

I've got a diode to solder across the terminals of my Saturn motor and, being a bit slow, can't remember which way to do it. Which terminal should the end of the diode with the stripe go on (+ or -)? It's the first time I've done this!

The end with the stripe goes on the + side. But remember you cant fit it if you've got reverse on your speedo.
