Default Losi + Novak 6.5L - Not on a sixpence

I have the Xcelorin and a Novak 6.5L in an X60. Hooked it up to the PC and set -

Brake - 80% (Maximum)
Drag Brake - 30% (Maximum)

Gave it a blast, but it doesn't want to stop very quickly?

It's not a transmitter setting issue. Travels are all ok and checked the monitor and the brake motion is working fine. (Using DX3R)

Is it just the size/ weight momentum of a truck? Am I expecting too much or is this something that others have noticed with this ESC/ Motor or ESC-Motor-Combo?

With the wheels raised, the motor stops very quickly when applying the brakes.

At the hotel now - Much more carpet in the hall ways than I have at home. Now - i'll find out how quickly it stops/ doesn't stop!

80% brake, are you having a giraffe? I run mine on 40% max with 15% drag.

Solution! Don't use a Novak light motor. Much too little torque for a truck and next to no brake, even with my Giraffey like settings.
