Woody, was thinking of bringing the xx4 down tonight. What tyres would you suggest? Is it mini pins?

Cheers

Nothing works mate. Its polished floor so anything u want to. Some use yellow pins/spike and I used last time BB greens.

When i was last there i tried pins and spikes.. both as good as each other, maybe spikes had a slight edge?

Completely forgot this was on tonight... have both cars to sort ready for the petit this weekend..

Do you think it would be worth trying some silicon bath sealant, like the old days, used to work a treat on the wood floors back in the 80's....squeeze out a good load onto some cardboard (sounds pervy), roll tyre in silicon (with optional facemask due to overpowering vinegar smell) and leave for one hour... voila, one polished wood floor tyre!....although we were on mabuchi 540 power then!

That could work... but use a 13.5 brushless... with anything else you would prob leave all the silicon at the first corner!! I'll let you experiment first!

Table Tennis bat rubber.. do you remember that! lol!
