Default tyre choice

evening chaps,

quick question if you dont mind...from what I have read here when it comes to indoor off road racing on carpet and polished floor mini pins on the front of a 2wd are the weapon of choice....are ribbed tyres any good too?

thanks ahead
dan

Not really, Schumacher stagger ribs are used sometimes on very high grip carpet but most of the time it's minipins all round

Bleh Minipins
At Teesside I hate them, far too much grip, but at the york track they were perfect. Weird

When i go down to he Trcc i now always run either minipins or mini spikes on the back with yellow staggered ribs on the front, and it works perfectly fine for me. No over steer or under.
