Default micro lipos

Ok, this should go in the micro section, but could also go in the 12th section, but it's definitely an electrics question, so here goes.

At my club, and various other clubs, you can only run lipos on the BRCA EB list. Now, the LRP hardcased cells may be appearing on that list pretty soon, but if not, on half of a saddle pack may fit nicely in the average Shark or Blaze (would have to check to be sure). Now I'm assuming the voltage would be lower, ie 3.7v, but, would using one half of a saddle pack be a workable option, or are the maths of such a thing just not an option, as I for one, need to get some setup practice in for the last few nationals of the season.

I wouldn't of thought so, as most are quite tall.

half a lipo would be way to big! and you would need to run something like a 5.5 brushless to get anywhere near decent speed from it at 3.7v!
