im not sure what the part number is,i have a ally trailing arm from an old optima mid and it looks the same but the thread is stripped,i also tried one from a rtr lazer mk 5, but its bigger were the kingpins screw in,might just file them down to fit but then i would need longer kingpins on underside.(think i have four top kingpins),are they differant in length on shoulder top and bottom? can the front hub assembly of a mk5 fit on the mk3 wishbone?

can you get most parts for the lazer? only thing is i dont know any part numbers etc,so its a bit of a struggle,i need the trailing/stearing arms aswell as the kingpins, ive been told the mk5 rtr parts will fit so i will give them a try as they have them in my local shop.had it running with a brushless 6.5t and it seemed to go really good (belts slipping a bit)it was about 15-18year ago when i last run it.jumped well too.should be great when stearing sorted.thanks for your help

Well, if you really like your lazer, you can still get new parts quite easily .

The front gear casing (LA-32) is a weak point of the lazer, but a friend of Welshy40 is making some more strong mould that solve this problem.

It's one of the most hard part to find ... however LA32 can be buyed from this guy ( http://www.tamiyaclub.com/trades_model.asp?cid=86032), drop a mail to Cyril ( [email protected] remove NOSPAM from this address )

The original MK3 (same as MK2) chassis and top deck can be buyed on ebay:
- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=290381602145

Or you can get some carbon stuff from http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/ .

But before buying please double check that you car is really an MK3 otherwise you will need to change some other parts.

bye
Ema
P.S. Probably I will sell some Lazer stuff in the future, but first I have to complete my Lazer Zx-r MK1 restoration (you can see some picture soon into the vintage section)
