Default Trf501x rear cvd parts required urgently - any advie.

My trf decided to become 3wd today, which was basically caused by the grub screw which sits in the collar (cross joint) which houses the pins in to keep the whole lot together ( make sense lol).

I basically have the shaft and the wheel axle, however i now need the pin ( which i believe is the same as the pin which holds the wheels on) and also the collar which houses the grub screw.

IN the trf manual it is these parts..

Pg 9, Item bb6 - 2 x 9.8mm pin
Item Bu5 - cross joint (collar)
Item bb5 - grub screw (3 x 2.5)

I imagine and hope that these parts my fit other tamiya cars, but im unsure. If anyone knows where i may be able to get hold of these parts, please let me know.

Thanks

Col.

Colin I can confirm that this parts is generic to the 415 range of cars and as such shouldnt be that hard to get hold of, now if you ask me nice I might have one in my pit box that I could dig you out.

Default 3wd problem!

Hi GUys,

Just buy 53500 cross joint set, it is the generic 415 parts!

Or at least I hope so, the instuction manuals quote the same part numbers, and I too became 3wd last time I ran the 501x so I need to do the same repair!

Dave
