Im just building i new kit today, again i have built a few of these cars now and in this particular kit the diffs do seem to have a very tight mesh.....i have removed 4 shims from one side where the instructions say fit 6 and although it feels looser it is still very notchy.....anyone had any ideas with this one???

this is because the production tolerance of these gearboxes is very bad. u shouldnt build a gear like shown in the manual (with the number of shims). Try to build it, that there is no axial run-out of the diff...
