Default 4S Life suggestions

Am tempted to try out a couple of the new Reedy Life packs for various classes including this, they are 4000mah 30C I think. 2x2S would give 13.2V voltage, between 3s and 4s Lipo.

So would there be a way of getting a decent package out of this to last a 10 min run? I can get 15mins out of 5000mah 4s lipo, so not sure the Life would do 10?

Also, what sort of kv motor would I need to be quick enough with that?

Finally, as receiver packs annoy me, which esc's would run his voltage ok and provide power to receiver/servo's etc as well? Or would I need a receiver pack?

First off, for racing LiFe over LiPo is pointless. They are heavier than LiPo, have more voltage drop under load and do not come with the right kind of capacities for 1/8th use.

The advantages of LiFe are seen in extreme bashing set-ups (monster trucks and speed run cars), where very high burst currents are seen (>200A) as the packs will take that without complaint - just the voltage will drop very low.
The packs also allow a little more abuse than LiPo and have therefore been labelled as 'safer'.

ESCs that will run 4S and won't need a separate BEC or Rx pack include the Castle Creations Mamba Monster, the Tekin RX8, the Hobbywing EZRun ESCs (including the Speed Passion) et al. ESCs that won't - LRP/Nosram 1/8 ESC (SPX8), probably the new Orion.
